Shara Strand
​Shara Strand, a renowned celebrity makeup artist, licensed esthetician, permanent makeup artist, and brow expert based in New York City, is committed to enhancing the appearance and overall experience of every client who entrusts their look to her expertise. She is excited for the next chapter of her makeup and skincare brand at her storefront UES makeup studio. Shara has achieved significant success working across various sectors of the makeup and skincare industry, including celebrity clientele, media, and television. Shara's extensive list of clients relies on her meticulous work for their most significant occasions, trusting her to enhance their faces on their most special days. Her experience includes working with brands such as Estée Lauder, Bare Escentuals, and NARS at every department store in her territory. She also became a leading makeup artist at Nubest Salon and Spa and later as a makeup artist and brow expert at Sharon Dorram at Sally Hershberger. Shara was the head makeup artist for Direct TV’s Sunday lineup. Opening Shara Makeup Studio in 2008 at The Pierre Hotel, her studio grew there for over a decade.
Shara's educational journey led her to earn a BFA from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Later on, Shara's passion for skincare led her to the Lia Schorr Institute of Cosmetic Skin Training. After obtaining her esthetics license, she dedicated herself to in-depth study of the eyebrow and its profound influence on facial aesthetics. During the Covid pandemic, she concentrated on expanding her eyebrow shaping and tinting business in the Hamptons and NYC. Immediately after, she pursued further education at the Outstanding Training Center to receive specialized instruction in Microblading and microshading under the guidance of master trainers.
Driven by a passion for high-quality, skin-loving products, Shara founded Shara Cosmetics and Shara Skin, offering these products both in her studio and online. With an ever-growing and engaged Instagram following of over 38K (@sharamakeupstudio), she takes pride in crafting beautiful and natural looks for her exclusive clientele.

Shara Strand, one of NYC's most distinguished makeup artist, is now available to take on your make-up needs. Shara has had great success working in all aspects of the makeup business, from celebrity / media/ television to a large roster of clients who strive to look their absolute best. She is committed to shaping and educating the newest, freshest beauty trends.
With over 15 years as a professional makeup artist, her educational pursuits have brought her to NYU, Estee Lauder, Nars, and various other well known makeup lines. Establishing herself as a regional artist for Estee Lauder, Shara spent many years working closely with clients in her territory of Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdales, and Bergdorf Goodman. Wanting to find a home base, where she could work on clients consistently, she became a leading makeup artist at Nubest Salon and Spa. She stayed for over three years, until she decided to open her own makeup studio on the Upper East side of NYC.
Shara's most notable makeup applications have been seen on WNBC, Fox 5, ABC morning news, Hamptons Magazine, and numerous bridal magazines. She is proud to create beautiful makeup applications to her exclusive clientele.
Alexa Tint
Alexandra is a professional makeup artist. She’s got a degree in linguistics and a master's in psychology. She worked as a teacher and started her own business at the age of 22, but since her teenage years she has been obsessed with makeup and in 2018 she decided to change her life. She finished Makeup Religion school (Moscow) and actively started working with clients and photographers.
She does different kinds of makeup, from very natural to creative editorial looks and special effects makeup. One of the most important things for her is neatness in work and sanitation. She has experience working on commercials, music videos, and film sets. She had a chance to work with popular singers and brands.
Her works were published in many magazines and she was a lead makeup artist on several runway shows. She constantly attends master-classes in makeup to follow the latest trends, master her skills and learn different techniques. She believes that the key to perfect makeup is communication. Knowing how to perform any kind of makeup, Alexandra always listens to what her clients love and what they are comfortable with. It helps to achieve a flawless look and makes her client feel happy and confident. She truly believes that being a makeup artist is her vocation.
Maggie Esmond

Maggie is a New York City based makeup artist specializing in airbrush makeup, false lash application and special effects makeup. She was born and raised in the metropolitan Washington DC area with her 2 sisters, mom, and dad. She grew up creative, and spent most of her time drawing in her sketchbook. She loved the process of bringing her vision to life, and pursued a fine arts education. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration, Maggie moved from Savannah, GA to New York City to make it as an artist. It was at this time that Maggie began to seriously pursue a career as a makeup artist. Maggie attended the Multimedia program at the Makeup-Designory to hone her skills as an artist. There, she completed over 600 clock hours learning professional makeup techniques. She has worked on numerous projects doing hair, makeup, and fashion styling. Maggie has been published in magazines such as Freaks and Geeks and Lavish Mode, and has worked on several web series, short films, and fashion runway shows. Her signature look is a clean, flawless makeup application with a pop of color.
Zoe Egley
Zoe grew up in Europe but has always been fascinated by New York. Her passion for esthetics inevitably drew her to the most glamorous city on earth, Manhattan. She moved to New York for formal training in cosmetology and esthetics at the Atalier school in 2018. After obtaining her NY state license, she began work as an esthetician and makeup artist for clients around the city. Zoe owns her own beauty freelance business, Zoe Beauty, and works with a wide range of clients including bridal parties and models. She enjoys doing natural glam to compliment her clients' natural beauty and editorial looks that are bold and make a statement.
Recently, Zoe completed certifications for advanced skincare procedures, including microdermabrasion, hydroplaning, and micro needling with Dermalogica. She has trained at skincare offices with skincare figures that inspire her the most, like Dr. Dennis Gross. Zoe believes that the key to good skin is consistency and quality products. Your skin is an investment and an important one!

Michelle Chadi
Michelle is a licensed Esthetician & Experienced Makeup Artist having attended Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics.
Michelle’s strong work ethic is focused on each client achieving the results they desire. She offers a gentle and intuitive approach to what colors, products & techniques work best with each client. She does not do a one-size fit-all makeover. She studies each client carefully and draws from her knowledge and experience.
Through patiently working together with her clients, Michelle creates magic by highlighting each client's best features. Most importantly, Michelle wants to help her clients feel that they are transformed not just for one event, but with knowledge that they can take home and apply every day.
Michelle has worked at high end makeup salons and spas in New York. She is proud of having worked with clientele which includes: news anchors, models, debutantes, social media influencers, tv & movie stars.
